ABOUT ME

Hello visitor,

I'm glad you visited my website. My goal here is to more authentically share parts of my life with the world. I have long since ditched social media, I'm not active on any of them. Instead of obsessively trying to reach a large audience, I want to create something I am proud of and share it more genuinely. I'm programming this website manually, learning HTML and CSS as I go. Surprisingly, while this process is slower and more involved, it has captured my creativity. I actually enjoy updating this website and adding to it. I know that if I don't like the layout I can just change it. I can make it exactly how I like.

I'm in love with the personal web. The beauty that people create and share using these small websites. Algorithms are designed to extract profit by casuing you to develop addiction by activating the 7 deadly sins: pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth. If you've been scrolling through social media and asked yourself why you keep returning to it, even though it makes you feel bad, this is why.
